MY STORY

Welcome to my blog!  If you have a love of the written word, you are in the right place.  I have always loved reading and writing.  I was the girl who got excited about the elementary school book fair.  My parents didn't have much money, but made my interest in reading a priority  Libraries and book stores were magical places where I could be transported to so many different worlds. 

I also love creative writing.  I was always bringing my parents short stores and poems I wrote.  As an adult, life took my focus away from my love of literature, but I am making it a priority again.  Some of what you will see in this blog is book reviews, and some will be my own original work.
